SRM is proud to be an official supplier of Sandra Wallenhorst (GER) on her way to world-class success.
In 1999, Sandra started to compete in triathlon. After finishing in the top ten in ITU-World Cup races she switched to longer distances and finished 6th at IronMan Canada. In December 2006 she gave birth to her son Philipp. Her comeback after the baby break has been impressive. She broke Paula Newby-Fraser's record in the IronMan Series, finishing in 8:47:26 hours after 3.8 km swim, 180 km bike and 42 km run at the IronMan Austria 2008. She also got 3rd in her debut at the IronMan World Championships in Maui, which was fabulous. In 2009 she maintained her track record, winning the IronMan 70.3 Austria and Ferropolis Middle Distance, but her biggest success was her win at the European Championships at the IronMan Germany in Frankfurt.
